First, a small time step, approximately one month:
For some time I unleashed my way through several pages about lightning read all, of course, the blog of David Hobby, www.strobist.com .
Compact Flash to use unleashed I personally find quite interesting, it has not always a wall to indirectly flash.
So I am after some research decided to the comparatively low Yongnuo RF-602 to order. For these "Made in China" variant I I decided since the upper class Alà pocket wizards with just under 300 € for a 1 receiver + 1 transmitter set is definitely too expensive. The Yongnuo RF-602 are to be had for just under 50 €, and I ordered the set with 1 transmitter and 2 receivers, the set costs to a receiver about 30 € if I remember correctly. I ordered on ebay-shop of the manufacturer (ebay: "hkyongnuophotoequipment") paid through the Paypal account of a friend.
Well, yesterday they are!
And my expectations were really! Favorite super price Leistugns ratio, good workmanship, no annoying blister pack (for me already times a major plus God, how I hate those annoying plastic packages that come RF-602's contrast in cardboard boxes) and, according to a first test distances of 50m not a problem. Allegedly, they walk just to 100m, I unfortunately had not the opportunity to test this, of course, would be questionable whether you work with such distances.
It also cables are connected to the receiver with large studio flashes.
Another application of the RF-602's kit is also the function as a remote shutter release.
over another cable (which I did not stupidly ordered, I am furious about it again and again) you can (there is for other Nikon cameras), the receiver with the 10-pin connector on the serial link D300s/D700/D300/D3. Then you just take the transmitter and can be the 2-stage (lightly press -> focus, strong press -> Release) trigger switch.
Well, then went to try out, just by chance I have, in addition to my Metz 58 AF-1, a Nikon SB900 on loan at home and with two flashes of course makes the whole much more enjoyable ;-)
Here two Photos have emerged in testing:
Unfortunately, I had until now no model at hand for the system to test for portraits.
Soon I will also continue Café series, currently is the weather / light just too bad here in Vienna ....
greetings
Daniel Willinger
