Family Guy For Ipod Online

unleashed

First, a small time step, approximately one month:

For some time I unleashed my way through several pages about lightning read all, of course, the blog of David Hobby, www.strobist.com .
Compact Flash to use unleashed I personally find quite interesting, it has not always a wall to indirectly flash.

So I am after some research decided to the comparatively low Yongnuo RF-602 to order. For these "Made in China" variant I I decided since the upper class Alà pocket wizards with just under 300 € for a 1 receiver + 1 transmitter set is definitely too expensive. The Yongnuo RF-602 are to be had for just under 50 €, and I ordered the set with 1 transmitter and 2 receivers, the set costs to a receiver about 30 € if I remember correctly. I ordered on ebay-shop of the manufacturer (ebay: "hkyongnuophotoequipment") paid through the Paypal account of a friend.

Well, yesterday they are!

And my expectations were really! Favorite super price Leistugns ratio, good workmanship, no annoying blister pack (for me already times a major plus God, how I hate those annoying plastic packages that come RF-602's contrast in cardboard boxes) and, according to a first test distances of 50m not a problem. Allegedly, they walk just to 100m, I unfortunately had not the opportunity to test this, of course, would be questionable whether you work with such distances.

let's strobe

It also cables are connected to the receiver with large studio flashes.

Another application of the RF-602's kit is also the function as a remote shutter release.
over another cable (which I did not stupidly ordered, I am furious about it again and again) you can (there is for other Nikon cameras), the receiver with the 10-pin connector on the serial link D300s/D700/D300/D3. Then you just take the transmitter and can be the 2-stage (lightly press -> focus, strong press -> Release) trigger switch.

Well, then went to try out, just by chance I have, in addition to my Metz 58 AF-1, a Nikon SB900 on loan at home and with two flashes of course makes the whole much more enjoyable ;-)

Here two Photos have emerged in testing:

strobist test #1

strobist test #2

Unfortunately, I had until now no model at hand for the system to test for portraits.

Soon I will also continue Café series, currently is the weather / light just too bad here in Vienna ....

Does Implantation Bleeding Look Like Mucus

Sputtering

sputtering
Sputtering technology finds application in precision optics, today and in the ophthalmic optics.
In sputtering the cathode to the Targent thereon at high voltage is placed. The positive gas ions are accelerated towards the negative cathode and knock out the target particles which I condense on the substrate.
It is the sputtering method, therefore, not a thermal process, but an atomic collision process. The Atomic sputtered of the target hit with a 10 times higher energy than the substrates in a vapor deposition process.
behind the cathode plate on which the target is a permanent magnet is applied. The substrate holders are automatically run after loading into the lock chamber, which is then pumped out, then the valve opens to the coating chamber and after the inlet of argon (Ar) and the reaction gas, oxygen, or nitrogen, the coating begins.

Clip Art Of Switchblades

Hi,

yes, I know, I really wanted to like Write to the Photokina report.

is now gone for over a month and there has been some, but first at Photokina:

After a good 13 hours by train (Note to myself: Never again as long as traveling by train) from Vienna West train station to Cologne Central Station I was finally in Cologne. Since I could obtain the first quarter for lunch I've seen my first city.
Later, I'm still too short to create the show to me a first overview.
Well, I would like to now hand over any long report ever so briefly gathered my impressions:

-> Canon and Nikon, as expected, huge areas and always something going on, but when I try it with Nikon's new 35mm 1.4 was only once I was at their booth

-> Zeiss, here I think I spent the most time. The extremely informative and high-quality Zeiss area with the great bonsai test environment has occupied me longer. Even the "Giant Lens" as an information area, I was pretty good.

-> Sigma was also a very nice booth was pretty big since built up a huge groove for shooting. Besides the "monster" 200-500mm 2.8 (ah ka *** you is the thing large) one could try out there almost every lens out of the range for each mount.

-> Lomography, well, I'm not a Lomographer, but the stand was definitely the coolest, and thanks to the sun loungers and the depleted popular with visitors. How could I have unfortunately learned only after the show where you win Lomo cameras.

general, I found the show awesome, very informative and easy to consume vast amounts for viewing and try.

Cologne itself was also interesting, next to the cathedral I have in the Ludwig Museum, the Roy Lichtenstein exhibition and the Museum Walraff visited.

That's now time for Photokina, here are some photographic impressions:

The Web 2.0 in totalitarian states

The following article by Martin Schmitt in the context of the seminar "Politics 2.0 - How the web changed 2.0 Policy and Governance, held in the summer term 2010 at the Institute of Political Science, University of Tübingen, created .

The World Wide Web revolutionized politics. Former condemned to passivity citizens can now participate actively by the new technical possibilities and their social use in political processes. Due to the dynamic forms of communication results in political space for policy exchange and community building. Previously insurmountable walls be torn down and made the policy more transparent. Comprehensive information is often only a mouse click away. In particular, the so-called "Web 2.0" this potential opportunity learned in recent years in Western industrialized societies an enormous boost.

sees But what of the other side of the West? What role can the "Web 2.0" play in non-democratic and totalitarian states? It undermines established forms of government through widespread availability of uncensored information through new, horizontal communication and highly flexible, network-like organization? Or is there autocratic regimes new tools of the exercise of power and control in hand?

A first look at this highly complex and far-reaching questions we offer case studies of conflict between Google and China in early 2010 and with the elections in Iran associated public protests in 2009.

Google versus the Chinese State: The new power of the Internet companies

The conflict between Google and the Chinese government to smolder for several years before it escalated in March 2010. Fundamental issue in the debate over the censorship demanded by China of search results through the American search engine company Google. In China, to "protect its own people" certain information on the Internet, such as censored at the massacre at Tiananmen Square or the Tibetan independence movement. Since this information was available on Google, there were from China before 2006, only a very volatile access to the American side of the search engine.

order in the booming Chinese market, not the outside to stay in front, opened the company in 2006 a Chinese offshoot of his page and submitted for the Chinese censorship. Google officially launched the ground that it would expand its scope of action slowly, but must abide by the rules. It was an attempt, as an Internet heavyweight, the Chinese practice of interior soften out. Gradually expanded Google in a tense relationship with the Chinese government will offer. Initially, it offered only the search, later offerings such as Gmail.

Gmail then also became a bone of contention, was driven in December 2009 as a massive hacker attack on Google's mail server. The traces of the attack could be traced back to China according to Google. In particular, accounts of dissidents had been hacked. Google, the company responded: "We will not like it can and will no longer be subject to self-censorship. Chinese visitors to the site were automatically redirected to the uncensored site in Hong Kong. The Chinese government responded snubbed because their censorship practices were disclosed. They remained inactive, however. First, they threatened to Google's license as a content provider in China not to renew. That would mean the end of the Chinese version of the search engine. Second, certain search results are blocked. Users saw the headlines, however, continue to result, only the page itself could not be reached. This was clearly what is censored. In order not to lose his license in China, agreed on Google and the Chinese government finally on a compromise: Google stopped the direct link, but could still say with a link to the page in Hong Kong. The license was subsequently renewed.

result for the political scientist from the conflict between China and Google, two interesting implications. First, international Internet companies are increasingly on political actors. Their power over the more essential human quality, communication allows them to offer even states the forehead. Of course, this comes from self-interest, accompanied of a utopian rhetoric of improving the world. Google has a vital interest in a free exchange of information which is subject to any state control. Based on its business model: provide as much information with advertising. Google explains the behavior in this conflict.

But why does the Chinese government on a compromise with Google, instead of chasing it out of the country? A thesis of this would be that the Chinese government, the economically important middle class, in which Google has a high popularity scare do not want to. The concession would be less one on Google, as to its own people. The rigid control policy is to the appearance of diversity of information and popularity of the U.S. group sweetened.

Hence the second implication for the political scientist: The new communication possibilities are the lives of the people to stay. They change the nature of the information gathering and exchange of information, with enormous consequences for the political sphere. That had to feel even China, which has found its own way to deal with it.

The elections in Iran - New possibilities of media attention generated

The policy transformative power of new communications technologies and their use of mass Iran was also in the clear. In terms of government censorship there, it looks quite similar, here is the Internet with similar methods as in China censored in the strongest terms. Still could not prevent it in the protests against the outcome of elections in the summer of 2009 was the opponents of the regime, to use the Web to generate attention. Since the Iranian regime blocked the traditional channels of media coverage, were user-generated content central to its source. One of the regime's opponents on the video platform YouTube uploaded video via a mobile phone killed in the protests by the Iranian security forces, for example, women led the world's outrage. The protests at home probably swelled massively because of the video. The Web thus allowed a visual corridor in previously state-suppressed areas of social rebellion.

gave them given the new technologies the opportunity. Both for internal communication such as e-mail, phone or Twitter, as well as the production and publication of content through Google Docs, YouTube and blogs.

this but also the problems of network-based mediation for both Prostierende and also for the reporting journalists became clear. It was rarely clear what sources were from the respective images. They were exploited, or made them a reality in the country from? This had some bizarre results. Sun protesters wore on their shields the supposed image of the above, killed by security forces woman. The pictures showed, however, does not the woman, but a woman of the same name. The image had been downloaded from Facebook. Even reputable media as the issues of the day succumbed to the suggestive power of images. It took a hint from the audience clarified, for example, that in the show aired, supposedly new video of the protests was six months old already.

The individual user has more journalistic power, since the barriers to entry have dropped significantly by the new media. This will give the recipients all the more important content to critically.

seized the same time, the Iranian regime of the new means of communication. Where a mass surveillance of communications was not possible, the communications options were limited once radical. The Internet in the whole country was in protest to achieve little or only very slowly. Mobile networks have been shut down deliberately. By compromising videos and loads of fake posts in Web 2.0-style "protests have been discredited - a tactic that is widespread in China. But it went much further: Iranian opponents of the regime was identified on the Internet and made public. Regime-friendly groups should "take" of her. In addition, the activities of the regime's opponents were protokoliert, hacked their web accounts specifically disclosed and therefore the entire community. For the individual and his family had massive consequences: exclusion from the university, about negative effects on their own career to torture, rape and imprisonment. The protests failed and the world is now more interested in computer viruses in Iranian nuclear facilities as the fate of the "Twitter-revolutionaries".

Conclusion: A mixed picture

Both case studies leaving such a mixed picture. On the one hand, the combination by new technological possibilities and their mass distribution of radical new possibilities. They seize individuals to take through communication, collaboration and publication on the formerly closed political level influence. The Web alone is not enough. However, there is a 'critical mass' civic engagement that makes the new tools to use to get their acts an unexpected force. Authoritarian regimes, it is then more difficult to enforce their sole claim to power with repressive methods, and the supreme control of the communication of their own people. At the same time, however, prepare them as well. The new technical possibilities in connection with enormous state resources to give them the power-encompassing computer-based control, and therefore the suppression of their own people.

education student internship

completed My son is currently a student internship. To my surprise he had chosen a crafting profession, and we were glad when we found a reputable carpenter who received him. What a mistake. From day one, no one cared about him, with a few minor tasks he was left alone. On demand of the staff, he was told that they had no work for him. As a result, he sat around and killed time. Which in turn meant that the boss shouted at him, he should not sit around. At his request, to give him tasks that he was told that he "queue jumping" should be - which was meant to work to getting the staff. With the above-mentioned result.

He decided to cancel the internship. We have found a new job with another craftsman who is able to transfer student internships, activities that allow an insight into the profession. Thus the issue was by me. However, I then received a letter in which the owner of the Carpenter wrote to the school that my son had not shown any interest in the processes in operation. Literally it means: "All trainees will be with us - as far as possible - integrated into the workflow or have the ability to one of our companions carefully monitor the processes with / to make handouts." Interesting wording, which means, in effect: "Stand next to our fellows and watch them - but sit here not go."
Oh: The sweep was part workshop handouts, vomit, rinse and wipe dishes. Sounds like a classic Student internships, job, right? For all the frustration

: A learning experience as it can go in smaller companies, it would nevertheless have been. My gratitude but stays within limits.

Will Cheats On Vba Mess Up The Game

Go Web 2.0, Viviane! - An Open Letter to Viviane Reding

The problems of the EU

This morning I came across while reading my feeds on two contributions, each in his way, that address some of the key problems facing the EU at the moment. The excellent article in the Washington Post - "? As nationalism rises, will the European Union's fall" - points to the clearly visible signs of re-nationalization, the medium and longer term view of the time very successful project of the European Integration could in principle be questioned. The second, the evaluation of a recent Eurobarometer survey € describes the ever-diminishing confidence of citizens in the EU.

These problems are not new, they accompany the Union since the rejection of the Maastricht Treaty by Denmark in a referendum in June 1992 and have since repeatedly, not least in the negative outgoing referenda on the Constitutional Treaty in France and the Netherlands in 2005 or at the rejection of the Lisbon Treaty by Ireland 2008 apparently become. Their causes, which I described some time ago elsewhere , are complex and extensively, but one of them, the lack of communication with some 500 million EU citizens, the inability to explain to them the benefits of the Union and for them to participate, should be particularly evident and significant.

If understanding and trust are missing, suffering not only legitimacy, but - if in the light of the unanimity principle in contract changes, only the lowest common denominator must be found - obviously the performance of the system. The disastrous record in the so-called third pillar on the basis of the rules of the Maastricht Treaty, only one of many examples of dar.

The solution - better communication policy

But back to my morning reading. Die schloss nämlich auch einen Beitrag ein, der beschreibt, wie die Lösung aus Sicht der Kommission – und nicht zuletzt der zuständigen Kommissarin, Viviane Reding – aussehen könnte. The magic word here is personalization, ie, connect the "EU-government," the commissioners and in particular the Commission President as closely as possible with substantive projects that provide EU policy, therefore, a face.

As obvious as this idea may be, it is in my opinion in a national language by the discussion fragmented areas dominated Union not help much and they can not seem particularly radical, because it remains on the surface. What does it do if a bill is associated with the names Barroso, but the action is neither understood nor could the people involved in it?

Why not an EU 2.0?

What surprises me personally greatly in this regard is how little the EU has been a means of solving their communication and image problem to a resource that more and more people - and companies - use a large scale and with success, and the elsewhere already changed policy and governance has the Web 2.0 ( detailed information about the Web 2.0 and examples for the use in politics and governance in the United States during see presentations, which can be accessed via the links, and that you are including Manuscripts can download to your notes pages).

Why the EU needs policies and governance 2.0 2.0

This fact amazed all the more so as the EU border due to their special features out for politics and governance 2.0 2.0. Policy is here because it is a consortium of 27 national states, even much further away from the citizens. It is because they by a one-form in this system, which resembles neither national nor international public policy, is to operate even more incomprehensible as a national policy. The already existing nation-state separation in 27 is reinforced by the fact that no reaching across the language barrier political discussions are possible, which would be urgently needed.

In all cases, even in overcoming the language barrier, could bring Web 2.0 tools and modern translation technologies significant progress. If I want to look into foreign languages, is by using Google Translate easily possible - the results are not perfect, but absolutely well understood. A foreign language can mail in my e-mail client, Gmail, translate with one click. Why do not at least attempt to create EU discussion forums and participation channels for which this is possible?

What has the EU done so far

... is manageable, which can be a current inventory of advised in work of Adrien Czar, "they participate." Electronic means of civic participation on the portal of the European Union "(MA thesis, Tübingen, June 2010) refer. Also, you can relax in the most recent document the EU on the subject, the "Ministerial Declaration on eGovernment , which was adopted at a major conference on the topic last November, learn about the future plans. In addition, I can related to the conference published anthology, "Understanding E-Government in Europe. Issues and Challenges " recommend that the article contains some very interesting.

What should the EU

If you look at the recent EU efforts to look, are, in very pointed, in my view, to recognize two fundamental shortcomings. Once, as in the title just mentioned the anthology is expressed, the concentration of E-Government in contrast to Government 2.0 and 2.0 Governance. This means in practice that citizens are regarded primarily as a customer, which will be offered via online channels, a better service. This is a laudable undertaking, failing to notice, however, that in politics is not about the services of a company to customers. Citizens in the policy, at least in democratic systems, the carrier, even when democracy literally, the lords of politics! So you want to join not only served, but they do, should and must be allowed, and governance 2.0 adds to the possibilities.

The second deficit is in my view to see that, for example in the above-mentioned book, Understanding E-Government, primarily discussed examples and experience from Member States , instead of once a more systematic thinking about which of them distinctive requirements of the EU, as we political scientists call it not in vain, "sui generis" to do.

conclusions can be summarized briefly say that the EU is just there again, to solve their basic placement and communication problems with the Concentration on personalization to jump too short - and once more to fall into the ditch.

Why not instead, about the experiences in the United States, New Zealand, which has progressed very far in this respect, or take in the United Kingdom informed, also a representative for gov20 summit, which the 07-08.09.2010 in Washington DC Send pending, and then think specifically and systematically about what it would be especially useful for the EU?

Briefly: Go Web 2.0, Viviane!

Room Where Anna Nicole Smith Dies

Nikon - News

Since I am an avowed Nikon photographer, I would like to give out my opinion about the new looks which Nikon has announced some days ago. This would

optics:

AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G AF-S NIKKOR
28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED
VR AF-S NIKKOR 120mm f/4G ED VR 24-
AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR

I begin once the AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G.

The predecessor of the new 85mm (the 85mm 1.4 AF-D) was and is a top lens, sharp, good bokeh, everything you would expect of a lens in this price range this also.
Whether the new version are so many improvements brings with it remains to be seen, the new nano-coating and the Silent Wave motor can hope.
is also interesting to see how the lens strikes against the new Sigma 85mm 1.4, which plays in a completely different price range.

AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR

Yes can this lens and I really want to say not much.
Why?
I do not believe this super zoom. The advantage of a (digital) SLR camera is, the very fact that you can change the lenses. So why all the focal areas with a suitable design. Because you do to the work of the lens will not change? I'm rather of the opinion that the image quality is paramount.

AF-S NIKKOR 120mm f/4G ED VR 24-

The perfect all-round lens for people with full-frame cameras, interesting focal length range, image stabilizer and f / 4, what more could you want.
for APS-C cameras, I think the focal range but rather uninteresting, since you can at the lower end only would the 35mm focal length.
also last a good counterpart to the Canon 24-105 f / 4 L

and thus the only DX / APS-C lens that was presented.

AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR

well, what can I say. The lens has a good place to park in the lens from Nikon, but for me it is uninteresting. I think the lens is especially interesting newcomers will not just want to invest in a full format compatible 70-300, but still not at 300 mm (at the Crop and even about 450mm) want to do without focal length.
will also probably be in the lens also presented for the Nikon D3100 Double Zoom Kit with you.

I think Nikon has even reworked Newcomers to this mid-priced, what was really needed. I personally would want me to say a 70-200mm f / 4, but in September, is again the Photokina, maybe my wishes will be answered.

Will I Get A W-2 From Disability

35 ³ - Day 23-25

So, finally I come again to write about it here. In recent days I have found no time to, so it is here in this post three pictures.

I'm starting with today's best day:

Today I was with my family in castle country on the move, first in Andau the pond (which is highly recommended by the way) and then have We even stopped by at our master winemakers.
is in the camp of the estate then the current picture is created.

Then I got here Saturday for the image of you, which was created while I was in the evening with the dog was outside.

strangers in the night

Actually, I already had on Saturday a completely different picture idea, since it did not, however, it somewhat cut down as I had wanted a different picture her.

And here's the picture from Friday:
