Buying a teacher?

instead of a comment I want the last post by John in the picture used by the company shed light on school again. A principal is not a business leader, but maybe the head of a department. Teachers are state officials with the obligations and rights in particular. Therefore, management (= government) will never be any liability from the hands.

As I understand the appeal of Jena'schen development association, has the question Teacher recruitment rejected last year, so he has slipped on the priority list. What private company would hire someone who refuses to sign the usual clause that the company management has secured the right to move?

I know the conditions in Thuringia, but I think that the case would be so not happening in NRW. Next picture: In what can companies Head of Department (School Director), staff (staff) and customers (parents and students) in decision equal who gets a free place? In NRW, free teaching jobs almost exclusively on the government Steinbrück introduced "school sharp calls" occupied. That a candidate has to face this competition is, but ok. And in what company must decide staff and customers about the occupation of a department head position (= school management)? Probably only in (state) schools.

I am also of the opinion that it is not the right way, responsibility for school affairs by a central authority to a local move. The design of the school scene is in the hands of the stakeholders, the school community. Fortunately for North Rhine-Westphalia this path is followed here a long time. This is also educational: curriculum standards and determine the Country, the educational concept, the School Committee. As a mayor has to look for anything. "Buy"

a teacher can (and should) you do not. A regular teaching job in Jena is not good. If you continue spinning the times: there What better way to cement the social imbalance in our education system, not only, but even at the local level or to increase significantly when heeled Promoting Associations simply buy out candidates from the system? Since the (quantitative) allocation of scarce resources is equitable. By the way: From the United States, one hears that in some communities, municipal employees (ie teacher, or indeed police officers) are fired for no money is.
